DIALYSIS

The primary goal of dialysis is to “clean” the blood of the toxins produced, extra water,
and electrolytes like salt and potassium that are brought on by a problem with kidney
function. In Delhi, dialysis is used primarily for patients with chronic renal failure who are
towards the end of their lives and have irreversible acute renal failure.
It is based on how solutes (such as ions, urea, creatinine, and uric acid) and solvents
(such as water) move in response to the various concentrations of substances as a
result of diffusion processes, osmosis, and filtration
